The art and illustration of Erin Go Paint by Erin Rogers Pickering

I creates vibrant, whimsical watercolor illustrations filled with joyful color and anchored by loose ink line work… creating art for fabric, books, magazines, cards, and towels in addition to bringing to life commissioned illustrations for business and private clients. I am a huge proponent of a daily sketchbook practice - to keep the ideas flowing and for the meditative relaxation it provides. There is so much to be gained from drawing from life every day!

Come travel into my world of Erin Go Paint…

Mid century model ready to fly off to Paris with her gorgeous retro mint luggage. My parents each had a set of hard luggage like this when we were growing up and it always struck me as so glamorous. I created this watercolor illustration during the 2020 shutdown while we could only travel in our imaginations. watercolor and ink on paper

My Cheeseboard design on fabric and soft goods at Spoonflower… scattered with yummy soft, hard and stinky cheeses with the perfect nibbles of olives, grapes, fruit and nuts. I love creating delicious and whimsical food illustrations in watercolor and ink.

My Spoonflower shop is a work in progress and continues to expand little by little. Way back when I graduated college, Fashion Institute of Technology, I began working as a textile designer, it feels full circle to be back at it again!

I love seeing the fabric printed samples as they are very vibrant and true to the colors I paint. The Cheeseboard collection was first created as part of a 100 day project I did a few years back, where my main focus was food. I did it around Valentine’s day and the original title was I Love You More than Cheese! I thought that said it all. You can click this link if you would like to visit my storefront on Spoonflower.
